BRAINSAREFUN FEARLESS FRIDAY BLOG – news from the reading renaissance – Friday June 14, 2013

Since I was an English major in college I got to read James Joyce's revolutionary classic Ulysses. As you might remember, the entire novel takes during one day in Dublin, June 16, 1904.

So popular has this novel become that June 16 has been put aside by readers around the world as "Bloomsday." There's even a James Joyce iPad app. available through the Apple App Store. It's one of my favorites

Thanks for all you do to teach kids to succeed with reading and math. Let me know how I can help and, "Happy Bloomsday."
